I don't think Wright did a very good job making his book seem interesting (which it is). It's hard for anyone to keep up with crazy old Colbert, though.

    Joel,

The numbers don't lie. Surprised by Hope was ranked in the 700-800 range on Amazon prior to the show. The day after, it was the 140th best selling book on Amazon (not "Christian book," but "book").

    Grace and Peace,
    Raffi

I finally got to watch this - thanks for posting it. I agree that Wright did a good job with Colbert and rolled with it.

I really appreciate the exposure of a Christian who is intelligent and can appear on a comedy show and do alright. And it was a Christian who strongly affirmed the resurrection of Christ yet talked about renewing the world and seeking truth. His appearance is compelling in those respects. He is a good spokesperson for the Anglican Church and Christian Church.
